Nicola Kaye

Nicola Kaye is a Lecturer at the School of Arts and Humanities, Edith Cowan University (ECU), Western Australia. She serves as Deputy Lead of the Research Centre Arts, Communications, Design and Culture and Deputy Director of ECU Galleries. Her work focuses on interactive digital media, public pedagogy, and cultural identity, often in collaboration with Stephen Terry. She has exhibited globally and received the J.S. Battye Creative Research Fellowship.

Her research spans interactive digital video, public space dynamics, and cultural identity critique, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and creative practice. Nicola has supervised over 15 PhD and MA students, exploring themes like gender fluidity, socio-political narratives, and digital technology in art.
