Nickolas Falkner

Associate Professor Nickolas Falkner holds the position of Associate Professor/Reader in the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Adelaide, within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. He is the Director of the Australian Smart Cities Consortium and a member of the Computer Science Education Research Group. His research focuses on computer network design/development, network security, privacy preservation, blockchain technologies, IoT, and educational strategies to enhance student participation and retention.

He is actively involved in initiatives like the University’s AdX program and the Digital Technologies MOOCs for educators. His teaching excellence has earned him awards, and he supervises Masters/PhD students. Contact: Ingkarni Wardli Building, Floor 4, North Terrace campus.
