Nicki Davis serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Graphic Design within the Department of Art + Design at Austin Peay State University.
Her educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from the University of Cincinnati, completed in 2010.
Davis is a video and sound installation artist whose practice creates immersive sensory experiences through multimedia works. Drawing from childhood experiences on a Tennessee farm, she explores relationships between earth and domestic interiors while deliberately subverting audience expectations about narrative structures. Her commercial design expertise spans over two decades, encompassing website and graphic design for non-profits, local governments, science conferences, healthcare organizations, artists, and filmmakers across both in-house and freelance roles.
