Nicki Adderley is a Professor of Epidemiology and Real-World Evidence at the University of Birmingham, leading the Health Informatics and Multimorbidity team in the Department of Applied Health Sciences. Her work leverages real-world, routinely collected data to advance understanding of epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, clinical practice, and healthcare utilization.
- Education: PhD in Egyptology (2009), MPH (2016), MPhil (2005), MA (2003), all from the University of Birmingham; MSc and BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge (2001).
Her research spans chronic disease management, public health, and health equity. Key projects include Addressing Ethnic Inequalities in Diabetic Neuropathy and Reducing Gambling Harms. Current collaborations involve NIHR, Stroke Association, and NHS Foundation Trusts.
