Associate Professor Nick Osbaldiston is a sociologist affiliated with James Cook University (JCU) since 2015, working in the College of Arts, Society and Education. He also serves as a research fellow at the Cairns Institute. His research focuses on lifestyle migration, internal migration, social theory, coastal sociology, higher education labor dynamics, and climate change adaptation.
