Nick Lin

Nick Lin is an Associate Research Fellow (Associate Professor) at the Institute of Political Science, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He completed his Ph.D. in Political Science at Rice University in 2015. His research focuses on the interplay between political institutions and electoral dynamics in advanced democracies, particularly examining how institutional frameworks shape elite behavior and voter responses.

His work explores comparative political institutions, democratic representation, legislative politics, and electoral behavior with a primary regional emphasis on Western Europe. He has previously held a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Collaborative Research Center SFB 884, University of Mannheim.
