Nichole Gleisner

Nichole Gleisner is a Lecturer at Yale University and Managing Editor of Yale French Studies. She earned her PhD and MA in Romance Languages from Duke University in 2011 and 2008, respectively, and a BA from Boston University's University Professors Program in 2003.

Her research focuses on World War I trenches as sites of literary production, particularly examining lesser-known écrivains-combattants and the works of Guillaume Apollinaire. She is also engaged in translation work, including Benoîte Groult's memoir My Escape and poetry by Nadia Tuéni, and is currently translating and writing a biography of Joë Bousquet.
