About
Dr. Nicholas Zoller is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computing, Mathematics, and Physics at Southern Nazarene University (SNU), where he has served since 2009. He holds a Ph.D. (2009) and M.S. (2005) from Lehigh University, and a B.A. (2003) from Messiah University.
His research interests focus on mathematics education and interdisciplinary STEM initiatives. He leads SNU’s Summer Research Experience, enabling students to collaborate with faculty on projects since 2012. As institutional representative for the Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium since 2012, he fosters academic-industry partnerships. His professional service includes roles as a MAA Project NExT Fellow (2010-2011), judge for student paper competitions (2011–2023), and faculty sponsor for SNU’s Putnam Exam teams (2018–2019) and Mathematical Competition in Modeling teams (2017 & 2019).
