Nicholas W Wood is Professor and head of the Clay Arts program in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Arlington's College of Liberal Arts. As clay studio area coordinator, he oversees instruction in ceramic arts and sculpture.
His artistic practice spans drawing, collage, sculpture, and curatorial work. Wood's exhibitions explore materiality and form through ceramic and mixed-media installations. Recent exhibitions include 'Presence' at The MAC Dallas and 'Nicholas Wood: Introspective' at Lakeview Gallery.
