Nicholas Strouthidis

Nicholas Strouthidis is a Clinical Professor in Clinical Ophthalmology and Eye Health at the University College London (UCL), affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health. He is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, specializing in complex glaucoma management and cataract surgery. His research focuses on optic nerve biomechanics, clinical trials for glaucoma treatments, and surgical innovations for corneal disorders like keratoprosthesis. He has held leadership roles including Director of Glaucoma Service (2015-2018) and Executive Medical Director (2018-2021) at Moorfields.
