Dr. Nicholas P. Herrmann is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Texas State University. He earned his PhD from University of Tennessee in 2002. His primary research interests include forensic anthropology, dental anthropology, and geospatial applications in archaeology.
Current research projects include the Forensic Isotopic National Database (FIND), Mississippi State Asylum Cemetery Project, Morton Shell Mound Bioarchaeology Project, and several Eastern Mediterranean bioarchaeology initiatives in Greece, Cyprus, and Honduras. His work focuses on skeletal biology, commingled remains, taphonomy, and isotopic studies.
