Nicholas Montgomery

Nicholas Montgomery is a Lecturer III in the Department of Economics at the University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA). His research focuses on urban and regional economic policy, household decision-making, and sports/labor economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). Dr. Montgomery has taught at institutions including Franklin and Marshall College and the University of Maryland system.

Current courses include Math for Economics (ECON 210), Urban Economics (ECON 487), and the Economics Honors Seminar (ECON 497). He is currently unavailable for advising during Fall 2023. Office hours are held in Lorch Hall, with departmental hours M-F 8am-4:30pm.
