Dr Nick Kaderbhai is a Research Associate at the Ax:Son Johnson Institute for Statecraft and Diplomacy in partnership with the Centre for Grand Strategy at King's College London. His research examines historical traditions of British statecraft and security professionalism.

Kaderbhai's doctoral research explored 'From Welfare to World Order: Social Democratic Internationalism on the British Left, 1918-1942'. His academic interests span British strategic traditions, historical approaches to statecraft, and security policy development. He has additional research experience in radicalization studies, having investigated Western foreign fighter migration to the Middle East following the Arab Spring as a Research Fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation.
