Nicholas Jennings is currently Vice-Provost (Research) at Imperial College London since 2016. Previously, he held the Regius Professorship of Computer Science at the University of Southampton (2014–2016) and served as a Professor of Computer Science there from 1999–2014. His academic journey includes roles at Queen Mary, University of London, where he earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence (1992). Jennings is a Fellow of the Academy of Europe (elected 2008) and has held significant advisory roles, including Chief Scientific Advisor for National Security to the UK Government (2010–2016) and Chief Scientific Advisor at Lostwax (2000–present).
