Nicholas Hutchinson serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Voice and Opera at DePaul University's School of Music, where he directs the DePaul Opera Theatre performance program.
His educational background includes studies at the University of Michigan with Martin Katz, Louis Nagel, and Arthur Greene, and at Michigan State University with Yong Hi Moon. He additionally holds a computer science degree and completed Japanese language training at Osaka's Kansai Cultural Center.
Dr. Hutchinson's professional focus spans vocal performance, collaborative piano, and opera production, enhanced by his decade-long private teaching studio and co-direction of Friends Music Camp—a Quaker-based program for young musicians.
