Nicholas E. Roberts

Nicholas E. Roberts is Professor of History at The University of the South (Sewanee), specializing in Middle Eastern history, Islamic movements, and imperialism. His research examines colonial governance in British Palestine, Palestinian nationalism, and the politicization of religious institutions. He authored Islam Under the Palestine Mandate: Colonialism and the Supreme Muslim Council (2016), analyzing British-Islamic political intersections.
