Nicholas D. Torres

Nicholas D. Torres is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government and teaches at the Wharton School. He holds an MEd and has over 20 years of executive leadership experience in human services, nonprofit management, and social enterprise innovation. His career includes transforming Congreso de Latinos Unidos into a comprehensive human services nonprofit integrating behavioral health, education, and healthcare.

• Key Roles: CEO of Social Innovations Partners; Founder of school-based health centers and college access programs; Member of Education and Health Solutions.
• Notable Achievements: Led Congreso to receive a $5M Edna McConnell Clark Foundation investment for youth service innovation; Developed a national performance management system adopted by Social Solutions' ETO.

His research interests focus on scaling high-impact social enterprises, integrating impact measurement into nonprofit practices, and leveraging cross-sector collaborations for public good.

He currently manages the Social Innovations Lab™ and publishes the Social Innovations Journal, while serving on regional boards for foundations and governmental agencies.
