Nicholas Clapham is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Student Experience at the School of Law, University of Surrey. With a background as a solicitor and Colonel in the Army Legal Services, he transitioned to academia in 2014. His academic interests span Public Law, Criminal Law, and International Humanitarian Law. He was honored as the Oxford University Press Law Teacher of the Year 2017 and appointed a part-time Recorder (judge) in 2019.
