Nicholas Andersen, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Director of the Univentricular-Biventricular Care and Research Program at Children’s Health. He specializes in congenital heart disease surgery with expertise in neonatal heart operations, single ventricle defects, and biventricular repair. His roles include Surgical Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and former Co-Director of Duke University’s Single Ventricle Care Program.
