Long Nguyen serves as Professor and Chair in the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), a position held since joining the institution in 2011. Prior to his academic career, he accumulated over six years of full-time professional experience in construction industries across both the United States and Vietnam.
