Neville Winter

Neville Winter is a Senior Lecturer in Electronics at Teesside University's School of Science, Engineering and Design Technology (SCEDT). He serves as course lead for the BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate program and the Degree Apprenticeship in Electrical or Electronic Technical Support Engineering. His roles include module leadership in Electrical Power and PLC/Principles-focused courses, as well as involvement in programme accreditation and reviews.

Education: MSc Electrical Power Engineering (Awarded June 2014). Professional Affiliations: Teesside Local Network Chair at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (since 2014).

Research focuses on renewable energy systems and academic programme development. His 2021 conference involvement at UPEC and co-authored works highlight technical and economic analyses of energy systems, alongside curriculum innovation in engineering education. Recent publications emphasize practical applications of renewable energy in industrial settings and master’s program design.
