Neville R. Dossabhoy

Neville R. Dossabhoy, MD is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), Jackson, Mississippi. He serves as Division Chief of Nephrology and holds leadership roles including Medical Director of the Dialysis Unit at the Shreveport VAMC since 2006. Previously, he served as Education Coordinator for the Nephrology Fellowship at LSUHSC-Shreveport for 11 years and Director of the CME Activity Program for Nephrology at LSUHSC (2011–2019).

• Education: MBBS from Aga Khan University Medical College (1990), residency in Internal Medicine (University of Texas, 1996), and nephrology fellowship (University of Texas, 1999).

His research focuses on nephrology, clinical outcomes of dialysis vascular access (e.g., AV grafts/fistulas), and medical education. He has presented at institutions like the University of Maryland School of Medicine (2018).
