Nevena Paunovic

Dr. Nevena Paunovic is a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPW) of ETH Zürich, Switzerland. Her research focuses on 3D printing, biomaterials, medical devices, and personalized medicine. She leads projects supported by the InnoBooster program and has pioneered innovative technologies in biodegradable device fabrication.

Nevena's research explores light-based 3D printing of biomedical inks for applications in customizable stents, photothermal therapy, and smart biomaterials. Her work bridges photopolymerization techniques with clinical translation in personalized medical devices.

Recent publications analyze 4D printing of degradable elastomers, NIR-responsive hydrogels, and solvent-free biodegradable manufacturing. Themes span biomedical engineering, polymer science, and advanced manufacturing.
