Neslihan Alp is the Dean of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Management at Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech), joining in January 2024. She previously served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Dean at Indiana State University's Bailey College of Engineering and Technology (2018–2022), and Associate Dean and Professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (1999–2018).
- Education: B.S. in Engineering Management and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University; Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Her research interests span engineering management, industrial engineering, data science, computational science, and mechatronics, with a focus on online education and interdisciplinary program development. She has secured over $50 million in grants, published more than 100 works, and spearheaded the growth of programs like Construction Management and Data Science to national prominence.
Dr. Alp’s contributions to STEM have been recognized through multiple awards in teaching, research, service, and diversity. She is a Fellow of the American Society for Engineering Management, a licensed Professional Engineer, and an evaluator for ABET and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
