Neng Liu is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at Peking University and Deputy Director of the Center for Sociological Research and Development Studies. He holds an Associate Researcher position with the LIA. His academic career includes roles as PhD supervisor (2013), Professor (2012), and earlier academic ranks at Peking University and the Institute of Sociology and Anthropology. He completed his BA (1992), MA (1995), and PhD (1998) in Sociology from Nankai University and Peking University.
