Dr. Nenad Joksimovic serves as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemistry within the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Kragujevac, Serbia. He completed his undergraduate education in 2014, earned his Master's degree in 2015, and obtained his Doctorate in 2020.
His research specialization focuses on Bioorganic chemistry and Medicinal chemistry, with a narrow scientific field in Organic chemistry. Dr. Joksimovic contributes to the Institute's research activities which form part of the Faculty's broader scientific mission that publishes approximately 200 M20 category papers annually in leading international journals.
The Faculty of Science and Mathematics represents one of Serbia's largest scientific research organizations, with over 133 full-time academic staff and more than 50 research associates engaged in domestic and international projects. The Institute of Chemistry conducts fundamental research in chemistry while supporting educational programs including Basic Academic Studies, Master of Academic Studies, and Doctoral Academic Studies in Chemistry.
Dr. Joksimovic works from office B-I-12 and participates in the Faculty's mission to develop scientific knowledge, improve higher education quality, train young researchers, and contribute to Serbia's scientific community through research in chemical sciences.
