Nelson Ribeiro is a Full Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Human Sciences, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and a senior researcher at the Research Centre for Communication and Culture (CECC). He coordinates the Doctoral Programme in Communication Studies and leads the research group 'Media Narratives and Cultural Memory.' Internationally, he chairs the Communication History section at the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) and co-founded the Lisbon Winter School for the Study of Communication with partners including the Annenberg School (University of Pennsylvania) and the University of Helsinki.
