Nelson Ham

Nelson Ham is a Professor of Geology and Environmental Science at St. Norbert College specializing in geomorphology. His research employs field observations, lab work, and remote sensing to study landform origins, particularly focusing on Wisconsin's glacial history and trout stream geology. His work examines how historical human activities like logging altered river systems. Ham teaches courses including Geology of Wisconsin's Trout Streams, Hydrogeology, and Geomorphology.

Education includes a B.A. from Augustana College, Illinois, and both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
