Neli Andersen

Neli Andersen is an Adjunct Professor of Business at Sweet Briar College, Virginia. She holds a B.A. from the University of Sophia (Bulgaria) and an M.B.A. from the University of Saarland (Germany). Her professional journey includes over 15 years of teaching in colleges and community colleges in Washington State, alongside founding a hospitality industry-focused business. She has been actively involved with the Central Virginia Business Coalition, supporting startup ventures since relocating to Virginia in 2015.

Dr. Andersen’s work emphasizes leadership training for high school students and young professionals, for which she was recognized as Lynchburg’s 'Best of Business' in Mentorship/Counseling (2019–2020). Her expertise spans entrepreneurship, hospitality operations, and mentorship strategies.
