About
Neil Sullivan is Distinguished Professor of Physics at the University of Florida, specializing in condensed matter sciences. With a PhD from Harvard University (1972), his research investigates collective quantum phenomena at ultralow temperatures using facilities at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory and UF Microkelvin Laboratory.
Current research includes:
- Order/disorder processes and quantum diffusion in solid hydrogen and helium
- NMR studies of quantum solids under extreme magnetic fields
- Collaborative axion dark matter detection with the ADMX experiment
- Development of novel measurement techniques for sub-kelvin temperatures
