Neil Cobb is a retired academic and professional with extensive experience in proposal management and technical communication. He served as a Continuing Lecturer at the University of North Texas Department of Technical Communication following his 13-year tenure as Executive Director of AT&T's Knowledge and Proposal Management Center (2000–2013). He holds six U.S. patents related to content authoring systems and is a Fellow of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP).
His expertise spans commercial proposal development, technical writing methodologies, and content repurposing systems. He co-authored the textbook Writing Business Bids and Proposals for Dummies (2016), which synthesizes his decades of industry and academic experience.
