Neha Raikar

Neha Raikar is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She holds a Ph.D. and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and the University Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, respectively.

Her research focuses on manufacturing, consumer product formulation, mathematical modeling, and process optimization, with significant work in the food and consumer goods industries. Her publications highlight expertise in population balance equations, emulsion dynamics, and scheduling algorithms for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) production.

Neha teaches core chemical engineering courses including ENCH 215, ENCH 225L, ENCH 425, and ENCH 442. Her office is located in Room 317 of the Engineering Building, with office hours Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
