Neda Genova is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies (CIM) at the University of Warwick. Her work bridges cultural, media, and post-communist studies, focusing on spatial and temporal transformations in Bulgaria’s post-1989 context. She explores surfaces as dynamic material-semiotic sites, analyzing their relationships to environments and signification systems. Her research emphasizes feminist and anticolonial methodologies.

Current projects: Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship on 'Beneath the Pavement, What? Memes and Politics in Post-Socialism'. Her work spans academic writing, public engagement, and activist publishing, emphasizing collective learning as an emancipatory practice.
Notable collaborations include the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation and the Arts of the Working Class collective. Her interdisciplinary approach integrates theory and praxis, addressing contemporary issues like care work and decoloniality in Eastern Europe.
