Neal Parker

Neal Parker is a Senior Lecturer in Information Technology and Business Analytics at NC State's Poole College of Management. He joined NC State after serving on the faculty of Appalachian State University's Computer and Information Systems Department. Parker holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Systems from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte (2013).

His research examines the intersection of technology and business strategy, focusing on IT economics, strategic sourcing, and the dynamics of online gaming communities. His work explores how digital platforms transform business operations and create new economic models in virtual environments.

Parker teaches courses in information systems management, data analytics, and digital business transformation. His industry-informed approach helps students bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications in technology-driven business environments.
