Nazmul Huda

Nazmul Huda is Associate Professor and Director of Education at Macquarie University's School of Engineering. A founding architect of the Mechanical Engineering program, he specializes in sustainability, circular economy, and life-cycle engineering. Huda holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and leads research on e-waste recycling, urban mining, and sustainable resource management.

His research has influenced Australian e-waste policies and been recognized with multiple awards including the Most Cited Paper Award (2020). Current projects focus on digital product passports for recycled materials and carbon neutrality in waste systems.

Huda serves on the editorial board of Scientific Reports (Nature) and reviews for international funding bodies. He developed the Master of Engineering Management and Master of Engineering programs at Macquarie.
