Navid Nasrollahei

Navid Nasrollahei is a Predoctoral Researcher at the Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica (IIT) of Comillas Pontifical University's School of Engineering, working within the Distributed Resources, Networks and Flexibility research area since his incorporation on February 9, 2024.

He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology in Iran, followed by a dual master's degree in Energy for Smart Cities through the EIT InnoEnergy program, studying at KU Leuven (Belgium) and KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), graduating from both institutions in 2023.

His research centers on modeling electrical distribution and thermal networks to analyze distributed energy resource impacts in multi-energy systems for new urban districts. Key interests include power grid integration of renewables, regulatory frameworks, and energy market economics, reflecting his industry experience at Next Kraftwerke and Caspian International Business Company.
