Navid Constantinou is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Melbourne. He previously held research fellowships at the Australian National University (2018-2021) and was an ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award Fellow (2021-2024). He is a core developer of the ocean dynamical core for the Climate Modelling Alliance's Earth System Model.

His research investigates how small-scale oceanic turbulence influences global circulation and climate systems, while advocating for open-source software and reproducibility in climate modeling. He also contributes to scientific computing and climate model development.
