Naveen Mysore, Ph.D., M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD). He serves as a cornea specialist at the Flaum Eye Institute, with clinical expertise in corneal dystrophies, refractive surgery, and ocular trauma. Dr. Mysore holds a dual degree from McGill University (Ph.D. in Engineering and M.D.) and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Royal Victoria Hospital, followed by a cornea fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute.
His research focuses on corneal biomechanics, systemic diseases affecting vision, and refractive surgery outcomes.
