Naveen Garg is the Usha Hasteer Chair Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at IIT Delhi. He earned his Ph.D. in 1994 and joined IIT Delhi as an Assistant Professor in 1997 after postdoctoral research at MPI-Informatik, Saarbruecken. He coordinates the UQ-IITD Academy of Research (UQIDAR). His research focuses on algorithms design, approximation algorithms for NP-hard problems, combinatorial optimization, and graph theory.
