Navaneethaa Krishnan Pollachi Veluswamy

Krishnan Veluswamy is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and Senior Research Engineer at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the same institution, specializing in polymer and composite engineering.

His research focuses on polymer extrusion compounding, nanocomposite development, and thermoplastic processing techniques. He leads multidisciplinary R&D projects at the Composite and Polymer Engineering Laboratory (CAPE) and Composite and Nanocomposite Advanced Manufacturing Center (CNAM), focusing on technology scale-up.

Recent publications demonstrate his work in microchannel insulating foams (2022), composite recycling (2022), and graphene-reinforced materials (2021). His research consistently addresses material characterization, processing optimization, and practical applications of advanced composites.

As Senior Research Engineer, Veluswamy contributes to significant technology scale-up initiatives and maintains expertise in polymer rheology studies and composite molding techniques.
