Nathaniel ('Nate') Roberts is a socio-cultural anthropologist at the University of Göttingen's Center for Modern Indian Studies (CeMIS). His work focuses on marginalized communities in India, including Dalit slum dwellers in Chennai, Pentecostals in Dharavi (Mumbai), and the Nagarathar (Chettiar) diaspora in Southeast Asia.
