Nathaniel (Than) Mull, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Biology in the Department of Natural Sciences at Shawnee State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Arkansas (2023), an M.S. in Biology from Northern Arizona University (2019), and a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Environmental Geography from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (2015).
His research focuses on ecological systems with emphasis on:
- Rodent population and community ecology
- Zoonotic virus surveillance including orthohantaviruses
- Impacts of habitat degradation on wildlife communities
- Parasite prevalence in relation to habitat quality
