Nathan Webb is a tenured Associate Professor of Communication Studies and Executive Director of Formation & Leadership Development at Belmont University. He serves as Catalyst for Pathway 1 on Belmont’s Strategic Path to 2030, leading Whole Person Formation initiatives through programs like BELL Core, the Teaching Center, and Service-Learning. With a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, M.A. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and B.S. from College of the Ozarks, he has held key leadership roles including Interim Dean of the College of Theology and Christian Ministry and Associate Dean in Liberal Arts. Prior to academia, he worked in nonprofit leadership with the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and as a legal research analyst in higher education litigation. A world traveler with visits to 40+ countries and all 50 U.S. states, he is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and outdoor enthusiast.
