Nathan Hodge serves as an Adjunct Professor at The Institute of World Politics and a Senior Intelligence Officer on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. With over four decades of experience, his career spans 26 years in the U.S. Air Force, 14 years at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and prior work as a Lockheed Martin contractor.
His educational background includes:

- Doctorate in Statecraft & National Security, The Institute of World Politics (first graduate of the program)
Dr. Hodge's research centers on Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Counterterrorism, and Intelligence Systems architecture. His fieldwork directly supported counterterrorism operations against Al-Qaeda, Lord’s Resistance Army, Al-Shabaab, and Islamic State in Africa through intelligence collection basing and partner coordination. He has developed strategic intelligence assessments for the Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Presidential-level entities including the National Security Council and Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board.
