Nathan Cadeau is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Social Welfare and Social Development Program at Nipissing University's School of Human and Social Development. He holds a Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy from the University of Guelph (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Nipissing University (2007). His research focuses on mental health in corrections, recidivism, and policy development, with publications exploring the intersection of mental health and criminal behavior.
Professionally, Cadeau has served for over a decade in Ontario government roles, including Program Advisor and Manager in the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, where he develops operational policies and advises on legislative changes.
