Nathan Alan Davis is Associate Professor of the Practice of Playwriting at Boston University. An acclaimed playwright, his works explore African American experiences and historical narratives through innovative theatrical forms.
Productions include 'Nat Turner in Jerusalem' (New York Theatre Workshop), 'Dontrell Who Kissed the Sea' (NNPN Rolling World Premiere), and 'The Wind and the Breeze' (Cygnet Theatre). Premiered three new plays in 2023: 'The High Ground' at Arena Stage, 'Eternal Life Part 1' at Wilma Theatre, and 'Origin Story' at Cincinnati Playhouse.
