Dr. Nathalie Mingboupha is a Teaching Professor in the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Sheffield. She holds a PhD and MSc in East Asian Studies from the University of Sheffield and a BBA from ESSEC Business School (France). Her research focuses on Chinese transnational migrations, particularly the ethnic return migration of Western-born diasporic Chinese and the impact of contemporary Chinese society on their cultural identity. She explores themes such as emotional self-repatriation through media consumption and intergenerational migration dynamics.
