Nataša Jonoska is Distinguished University Professor in Mathematics & Statistics at USF, specializing in biomolecular computation, symbolic dynamics and formal languages. She investigates how biological processes solve computational problems using mathematical tools from algebra, combinatorics, and topology.
Honors: AAAS Fellow (elected), MAA-FL Distinguished Teaching Award (2021), Rozenberg Tulip Award (2007). Current research focuses on DNA self-assembly computations and spatial graph models for DNA recombination.
