Natascha Zeitel-Bank

Dr. Natascha Zeitel-Bank serves as Senior Lecturer at the Department of Media, Society and Communication within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Innsbruck, teaching European Integration and Political Communication since 2003 across Austrian and German universities of applied sciences.

Her academic foundation includes:

• Sociology studies at University of Mannheim with focus on European comparative social research
• Doctorate in Political Science from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg examining European Regional Policy's interplay of economic and political interests

Research integrates European Integration frameworks with Political Communication dynamics and Media Studies, informed by her dual career in academia and European political journalism. Her interdisciplinary perspective bridges theoretical analysis with practical institutional experience from Brussels-based roles.
