Natalie Prowse is a Senior Lecturer in the Law School at University of Huddersfield's School of Business, Education and Law. She joined in 2014, became Senior Lecturer in 2016, and serves as Course Leader for LLB Law with Criminology. Qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 with practice experience in family/childcare law at firms including Chadwick Lawrence LLP.
Her research centers on family law dynamics, particularly domestic violence and legal responses to female-perpetrated intimate partner homicide. Current PhD investigates criminal-law intersections in domestic abuse cases under supervisors Dr. Bernard Gallagher and Dr. Grainen McMahon. Previous LLM research analyzed financial remedies for cohabiting couples.
